Presentation of Annual Report 2020 – 2021 to the Members of the Parliament

The Anti-Corruption Commission led by the Chairperson and Commissioner, presented the Annual Report for the reporting year 2020 – 2021 to the National Assembly and National Council on 03 November 2021.

This is the 14 th Annual Report, and first Report of the 3 rd Commission, submitted to the Parliament in accordance with Article 27 (4) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan and Section 169 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act of Bhutan 2011. The Report covers 18 months, from January 2020 to June 2021, aligning the reporting period with the Financial Year based performance management framework.

The presentation to the National Assembly was attended by the Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, Chairperson and members of the Good Governance Committee (GGC) and other Members of the Parliament. Whereas, the presentation to the National Council was attended by the Chairperson and members of the Good Governance Committee (GGC) and few other Members of the Parliament.

The Report will be presented and deliberated in the upcoming Session of the Parliament.
