Sharing of experiences by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau

The Anti-Corruption Commission received a five member delegation from the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB), Singapore led by the Director, Mr. Wong Hong Kuan for a two day exchange program with the ACC. The delegates arrived in the country on 20 May upon the invitation of the ACC.

The objective of the visit is to revitalize the linkage and also expose the ACC officials on the best practices and experiences of the CPIB on intelligence gathering, forensics examinations, and investigation management. The ACC, since its inception, has immensely benefited from the association with the CPIB in building its professional capacities from the higher level of competencies, intelligences and best practices shared. While ACC officials visited the CPIB on several occasions, this is the first delegation from the CPIB to the ACC.

As part of the exchange program, the delegates Called-On the Chief of Police and the Attorney General on 21 May 2018.

The delegates will be leaving the country on 23 May 2018.
