A team led by the Director, DoPE, conducted two hours long session for the 31 newly recruited Immigration Inspectors during their Induction Program on 31st August, 2018.
During the session, the team emphasised on the importance of the Inspectorâs role in upholding civil service values and code of conduct in safeguarding the national security using case studies and video clips. The session also highlighted on the necessity of resisting, refraining and reporting all forms of corrupt activities.
The team acknowledged the efforts of the Department of Immigration in professionalising their services as well as addressing the risk and challenges that are associated with their work nature.
