A team led by the Director, DoPE, conducted two hours long session for the 31 newly recruited Immigration Inspectors during their Induction Program on 31stĀ August,Ā 2018.
During the session, the teamĀ emphasisedĀ onĀ the importance of the Inspectorās roleĀ in upholding civil service values and code of conduct in safeguarding the national security using case studies and video clips. The session also highlightedĀ onĀ the necessity of resisting, refraining and reporting all forms of corrupt activities.
The team acknowledged the efforts ofĀ the DepartmentĀ of Immigration inĀ professionalisingĀ their services as well as addressing the risk and challenges that are associated with their work nature.
