The two member team from Education Division under the Department of Prevention and Education, ACC is conducting the Gewog Awareness and Advocacy Program under Punakha Dzongkhag.
The program which commenced from 7thΒ August 2017 covered officials and public of two Gewogs (Barp and Kabjisa). The team also interacted with the students and staff of Kabjisa Middle Secondary School.
The advocacy program is aimed at building an informed citizenry and garner support in the fight against corruption. The program covered topics on complaint management procedures, citizen participation, and impacts of corruption. It is expected to help empower the citizens to demand greater transparency and accountability in public service delivery. The advocacy program in Punakha Dzongkhag will complete by 15th August 2017.
