The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) hosted the First Technical Committee (TC) Meeting for implementation of the CSO Engagement Programme on 28 July 2021 at Paro. The programme is expected to proactively engage the CSOs in promoting justice and anti-corruption.
Honβble Commissioner Jamtsho formally launched the meeting virtually. The Committee is being chaired by the ACC with representatives from the Office of the Attorney General, Civil Society Organization Authority, Department of Local Governance (MoHCA), United Nations Development Programme and Bhutan Transparency Initiative to oversee effective implementation of the programme.
The meeting endorsed the three years (2021-2023) programme activities for implementation and approved budget allocations for implementation. The second meeting is expected to be convened in January 2022.
