In a simple ceremony on 12 August 2021, the ACC family bid farewell to Dasho Karma Thinlay who has been appointed as Paro Dzongdag. His Majesty The King granted Dhar to the new Paro Dzongdag on 2 July 2021.
Dasho Karma Thinlay started his career as an Instructor in 1993. In his 28 years of service, he served in various capacities before being transferred to the ACC as the Head of Secretariat Services in March 2006. As one of the pioneers in the ACC, he has not only contributed in establishing strong anti-corruption foundation but also served as critical institutional memory in sustaining the momentum in the fight against corruption. In July 2016, he was appointed as the Director of Prevention and Education Department in the ACC and led numerous prevention and education initiatives.
With heartiest appreciation for the dedicated and relentless service, the ACC family wishes him and his family good health, prosperity and success in his new assignment.
