Contract signing between the Anti-Corruption Commission and Bhutan Transparency Initiative to conduct the National Corruption Barometer Survey


On 12 October 2022, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Bhutan Transparency Initiative (BTI) signed a contract agreement to conduct the National Corruption Barometer Survey (NCBS). 

NCBS is a diagnostic study to determine the level/trends of corruption and the effectiveness of anti-corruption programs in the country. The survey is expected to be conducted once every three years in order to ensure timely monitoring and terminal evaluation of the targets in the 12th Five Year Plan (FYP). This is the third study that is being conducted by BTI which will aid to gauge accomplishment of the indicators in the 12th FYP and also for formulating evidence-based strategies for the next plan. 

The study is expected to be completed by May 2023.
