The Anti-Corruption Commission conducted two days Consultative Workshop on Guidelines for Integrity Club at Peling Resort, Phuntsholing from 6 – 7 March, 2017. The workshop was attended by the Focal Person from Ministry of Education, District Education Officers of Mongar, Samtse, Sarpang and Trashigang Dzongkhag along with the Principals and the Club Coordinators from Sarpang Central School,Β Sarpang, Yadhi Central School, Mongar, Radhi Middle Secondary School, Trashigang and Samtse Higher Secondary School, Samtse. The consultative workshop was organized with an objective to build the capacity of club coordinators and develop the action plan to carry out the clubs activities in schools.
During the workshop the participants were familiarized on the Guidelines and emphasized on 9 values of Integrity Club. The club is expected to bring behavior change in student and ensure Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in schools.
Currently, the Integrity Club is piloted in 4 schools in consultation with the Ministry of Education to inculcate and advocate for integrity and good governance and at later stage it will be replicated to other schools/educational institutes.
