The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) coordinated a two-day virtual workshop from 4 β 5 January 2021, with key stakeholders to finalize the draft Civil Society Organization (CSO) Engagement Programme on Justice, Governance & Anti-Corruption. A total of 19 participants from nine agencies participated in the virtual workshop. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Tomoki Matsuura from the UNDP using Mural, which is a digital workspace for virtual collaboration.Β The workshop was aimed to further enrich the draft Programme with agile, innovative and intelligent interventions especially in keeping with the COVID-19 situation.Β
The Programme is expected to promote constructive engagement of the CSOs and Cooperatives in enhancing justice, governance and anti-corruption initiatives in the country and accordingly contribute towards realizing the National Key Result Areas viz. Corruption Reduced and Justice Services & Institutions Strengthened.
