The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) conducted thematic session with Thimphu Thromde and Thimphu Dzongkhag officials on 13 and 14 February 2024 respectively, focusing on โStrengthening Local Governance through Ethics, Integrity and Professionalism.’
The session focused on the importance of ethics and integrity in local governance highlighting principles of transparency and accountability. Additionally, the session included a presentation on National Integrity Assessment 2022, and strategies for reinforcing ethical practices focusing on building a culture of integrity within Local Government institutions. These sessions call for a collective commitment to upholding the highest standards of public service through ethics, integrity, and professionalism.ย
