Coinciding with the 45th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The King, Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, the Honourable President of Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law graced the launch of the Wisdom Center for Justice (WCJ). The WCJ was launched with the Heads of the 11 justice institutions signing the Whitepaper during the inaugural session of the 2nd Paro Forum in Pangbisa, Paro on 22 February, 2025.
The establishment of WCJ is also an important tribute by the Justice Sector in celebration of the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck. With this launch, the WCJ will now serve as the Secretariat Office of the Justice Sector and oversee the implementation of the Justice Sector Strategic Plan 2024-2029 and beyond.
