Upon invitation from the Dzongkhag Administration, Gasa, a team from Education Division, ACC led by the Chief Integrity Promotion Officer conducted the second round of Gewog Awareness and Advocacy Program (GAAP) in four Gewogs of Laya, Lunana, Khamey and Khatoe from 22 to 26 January, 2018.
The program covered topics on complaint management procedures, citizen participation and impacts of corruption. Such programs are catered through various themes involving key stakeholders such as the local governments, civil societies/schools and youth in different parts of the country.
The advocacy program is expected to develop the sense of intolerance and resistance to corruption, and improve the quality of complaints. A total of 241 participants attended the program.
