Since 4th November 2019, the Anti-Corruption Commission has been conducting one-day workshop on implementation of National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy (NIACS: 2019-2023), consecutively, to the officials of various public agencies.
NIACS 2019-2023 was launched by Honβble Prime Minister on 14th August 2019. The NIACS aims to foster collective alliance in the fight against corruption. Hence, all the public and private agencies are expected to contribute to successful realization of the Strategic Objectives of the NIACS and ultimately the national objective of βCorruption Reducedβ in the 12th FYP.
A total of five sessions will be conducted in Thimphu from 4-8 November 2019 and the sixth session will be held in Bumthang for Dzongkhag & Thromde Administrations of Eastern and Central regions. The team is led by Director Karma Thinlay and the workshop will end on 13th November 2019.
