With the theme โSustaining Trust and Confidence in Public Service Deliveryโ, a team from ACC conducted Thematic Session for Revenue & Customs and Immigration Officials in Regional Offices of Gelephu, Samtse and Phuentsholing from 11th-22nd October. The session covered topics such as the importance of Ethics, Integrity and Professionalism, besides highlighting on corruption scenario and discussing on ethical dilemmas and corruption offences pertaining to customs and immigration services. The participants were also sensitized on transparency and accountability tools as anti-corruption strategies.ย
The team also conducted sensitization on Corruption Policy, Laws, Rules, Regulations and Core values for the Dzongkhag Officials of Samtse. Similarly, awareness session was conducted for the Companies and Business Entities of Samtse towards enlisting support for a vibrant and ethical business community.ย
The ACC has been intensifying its outreach programs to the agencies and institutions to discuss and exchange views/suggestions to enhance the culture of integrity and anti-corruption. Such forums are intended to enable agencies to devise anti-corruption measures that are tailored to the agenciesโ context.
