Three teams from the Department of Prevention and Education, Anti-Corruption Commission conducted two days thematic session for the Gups and Gewog Administrative Officers (GAO) of 205 Gewogs. The session themed โTowards Transparent, Accountable and Efficient Local Governmentโ was primarily aimed to sensitize LG Leaders on Ethics and Integrity, Integrity Promotion Tools and to facilitate in developing Gewog Integrity Plan (OIP), aligning with the 12th National Key Result Area โCorruption Reducedโ of the 12th Five Year Plan. 
Simultaneously, the teams also conducted Corruption Risk Management for 75 Gewogs of 7 Dzongkhags. This is to facilitate Gewog Administrations to identify potential corruption risks in delivery of their functions and accordingly develop strategic measures to prevent such risks at grass root level.
The session commenced on 8th January 2019 and ended on 24th January 2019. A total of 429 Gups, GAOs, Asset Declaration Administrators and Planning Officers (7 Dzongkhags) attended the session.
