Session on “Corruption and Democracy in Bhutan”

A team led by the Director from the Department of Prevention & Education, ACC interacted with 120 trainees of Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in National Law and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management on 20th July, 2017.

The Guest Lecture Program organized by the Royal Institute of Management is expected to develop the trainees’ understanding on the theory and practice of Good Governance in the Development Programmes.

During the session trainees were shared on “Corruption and Democracy in Bhutan” and oriented on the policies, plans and three pronged strategies of ACC. In view of the high importance given to the topic, participants were also presented on Bhutan’s TI-CPI index, challenges and opportunities faced by ACC, and reminded on the collective effort in fighting corruption and civic responsibilities towards building a corruption free society.
