Session for the 2nd Annual Procurement Workshop, RRCO, Gelephu

Upon invitation by the Department of National Property, MoF, two Officers from ACC conducted an hour and half-long session with the Procurement Officers during the 2^nd Annual Procurement Workshop on Procurement Management at Gelephu on 12^th February, 2018. The workshop was attended by 56 Procurement Officers from all the agencies across the country. During the session, ACC emphasised on the importance of the Procurement Officer’s role in ensuring value for money, mitigating risks of corruption and refraining from involving in corrupt practices. The case studies related to Procurement were presented to understand the causes and nature of corrupt practices and thereby working towards mitigating the risks of corruption in all the phases of procurement cycle.
