Review on Bhutan’s compliance on United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC)

4 member delegations with representatives from the Secretariat, UNODC and the two reviewing States (Cook Islands and Tajikistan visited Bhutan from 4th – 9th of March 2018.

The country visit was aimed to provide a platform to the reviewers to seek any clarification or additional information on the country report and to address the supplementary questions related to the Bhutan’s compliance to Chapter III: Criminalization and Law Enforcement and Chapter IV: International Cooperation respectively. 

The Anti-Corruption Commission as the focal agency for the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) coordinated the meeting from 5th – 7th March 2018. It was attended by a total of 26 participants comprising of the reviewers, the Secretariat, members of the National Steering Committee and a Technical Working Group.
