The Anti-Corruption Commission hereby reminds all AD covered persons who have not filed annual Asset Declaration for the income year 2024 to file on or before 30th April 2025. AD filed within the month of May will be considered as late declaration while from 1st June onwards will be considered as non declaration of AD for the income year 2024. From the total registered of 24,964 declarants, only 14,657 declarants have filed AD to date, while 10,307 declarants have not yet filed asset declaration.
Kindly be reminded that it is the responsibility of individuals to file AD timely and accurately. In case of your AD being returned for correction, ensure to make changes accordingly and resubmit it within fifteen days from the date of return, or on/before the declaration deadline. Failing to file AD on time shall be levied penalty as per section 38 (4) of the Anti-Corruption Act of Bhutan 2011 and sections 53 and 54 of the Asset Declaration Rules 2022.
