A team led by the Honβble Commissioner from ACC interacted with the Dzongrabs and Drungpas of 20 Dzongkhags and 15 Drungkhags during the Orientation Program held on 11Β October,Β 2017 at Gelephu. The two days program was organized by the Department of Local Government, MoHCA to capacitate Dzongrabs and Drungpas to discharge their duties professionally.
Recognizing their critical leadership role in deepening the principles of democracy and good governance at the grass root level, ACC presented the Complaint Management Procedures and corruption scenario in public procurement. The participants were also familiarized on some of the best practices and common red flags in public procurement.
While in the field, the team also interacted with 320 students (Classes IX & XI) and 10 teachers of Sarpang Central School and assessed the activities of Integrity Club.
