The Commission and the staff of the Anti-Corruption Commission earnestly welcomes Aum Ngawang Pem as the new Commissioner of the ACC.
His Majesty the King granted Tashi Khadar to the Commissioner Ngawang Pem on 23 April 2018 at Tashichhodzong.
Prior to her appointment as the Commissioner of the ACC, Aum served as the Dzongdag of Tsirang Dzongkhag (District Administration). She was appointed as the Dzongdag in 2012 and was the first woman to become Dzongdag. She joined the civil service as a trainee officer in the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs in 1994. She completed her Masters Degree in Public Policy from Australian National University, Canberra, Australia in 2006 and got her undergraduate degree from Sherubste College, Kanglung, Tashigang.
The ACC staff looks forward to working under the close guidance & leadership of the new Commissioner and grow and mature professionally & spiritually in the pursuit of building a happy, harmonious and corruption free society.
