To build an informed, awakened citizenry and to garner support in the fight against corruption, the gewog advocacy and awareness program was conducted w.e.f. 28th November till 6th December, 2018 in Zhemgang and Trongsa Dzongkhags as build-up program for the celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day in Langthel gewog on 9th December, 2018.
A total of 2177 participants (978 in Zhemgang and 1199 in Trongsa) attended the program. The team also interacted with the management and employees of Tangsibji Hydro Energy Limited and Mangdechhu Hydro Power Authority under Trongsa Dzongkhag.
The program concluded in Langthel gewog coinciding with the commemoration of International Anti-Corruption Day which was graced by the Dzongdag, Trongsa Dzongkhag as the Chief Guest.
