Building on the discussions from Day 1, Day 2 of the Asia Regional Expert Meeting focused on strengthening approaches to measuring the effectiveness and impact of anti-corruption agencies. Participants examined the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) research methodology for assessing ACA effectiveness, explored regional and global trends in performance measurement, and were introduced to IACA’s new platform designed to support ACAs in systematically measuring and benchmarking their effectiveness. During the session on measuring ACA impact through collaboration with National Statistical Offices, the ACC shared its experience of working with the National Statistics Bureau (NSB) in conducting the National Integrity Assessment (NIA) every three years, highlighting the value of institutional collaboration and the importance accorded by the ACC to reliable data in assessing integrity trends and informing evidence-based anti-corruption policies.
