A three member delegation led by the Chairperson of the Anti-Corruption Commission is currently attending the 7th ICAC symposium themed βFighting Corruption: A New Perspectiveβ in Hong Kong. Coinciding with the 45th anniversary of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the symposium is co-hosted by the ICAC and World Justice Project from 22nd to 24th May, 2019. More than 500 participants from over 50 jurisdictions and 200 representatives are attending the symposium.
Optimizing the opportunity, the delegation met with the Commissioner and senior officials from the ICAC on 23rd May, 2019. The possible areas of collaborations given the long experience of the ICAC in driving integrity and anti-corruption agenda were discussed.
