Thematic Session with the Forestry Officials

The Anti-Corruption Commission, in collaboration with the Department of Forests and Park Services, conducted a hybrid-mode thematic session on the theme โ€œTowards Promoting a Culture of Integrity and Professionalism,โ€ for forestry officials from 08 – 21 April 2025. The session covered 11 divisional offices, with additional participation from range and beat offices who joined virtually.

A total of 393 forestry officials took part in the session, comprising 339 male and 54 female participants. Recognizing the sectorโ€™s vulnerabilities, the session focused on key areas such as anti-corruption measures, ethics, integrity, and professionalism. The primary objective was to reinforce and inspire behavioral transformation, guiding participants to understand the corruption prevention measures.

Given that many participants were attending such a program for the first time, the session provided a platform for open discussion, enabling participants to ask questions, seek clarifications, and engage in discussion around the challenges and practices related to preventing corruption in the workplace.
