ToT on DAMTSI Activity Book (Developing Accountable and Moral, Trustworthy and Successful Individual)
Towards promoting and instilling a culture of integrity and a sense of intolerance to corruption among the youth at an early age, the ACC in collaboration with MoE has conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) on DAMTSI Activity Book in three regions viz. Tsirang (Central), Tashigang (Eastern) and Paro (Western) consecutively from 18-19 August, 24-25 August and 30-31 August, 2021. A total of 57 participants consisting of 17 Dzongkhag Education Officers, two principals and 38 ECCD facilitators from 18 Dzongkhags and one Thromde attended the training. The participants are expected to further roll out the training at the Dzongkhag level for other ECCD facilitators and subsequently implement in their centre. In view of the current pandemic situation, a similar training for the high-risk area will be conducted at a later date.
DAMTSI Activity Book for Early Childhood Care and Development facilitators have been developed in collaboration with ECCD and SEN Division of MoE, to impart Integrity Education under ECCD’s domain of Spiritual, Moral and Cultural Development. This is expected to promote the three core anti-corruption values and principles (which are Honesty, Responsibility, and Fairness) among the ECCD children. The DAMTSI Activity Book has been developed to engage and educate both children and their parents on Integrity Education to build a foundation for DAMTSI (Developing Accountable and Morally, Trustworthy and Successful Individuals).
