In accordance with Section 38 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act of Bhutan (ACAB) 2011 and the Asset Declaration (AD) Rules 2017, the Anti-Corruption Commission is hereby reminding all covered persons to file your Annual Asset Declaration for the Reporting Year 2018 within the declaration period, from 1st February to 31st March 2019. To confirm whether you are a covered person, kindly refer Annexure I & II of the AD Rules 2017 .
Further, covered persons are reminded to read carefully and follow the instructions while filing your Asset Declaration including the following requirement of the AD Rules 2017:

i)     Not to declare old properties which have been already declared in the previous years;

ii)   Declare correctly:

a)    All sources of income including income from sale of properties, commercial activities, working abroad, etc., if any;

b)    All liabilities (loans); and

c)    The reporting year’s savings.

To avoid unnecessary administrative burden due to numerical/typographical errors and incomplete information, kindly preview and ensure that you have filled correctly and provided complete information before submitting your declaration.

Kindly note that it is the responsibility of the covered person to file his/her AD within the declaration period, failing which, penalty shall be levied as per Section 38 (4) & (5) of ACAB 2011 and Sections 53 and 54 of the AD Rules 2017 as follows:

1.    Late declaration (1st May – 31st May 2019) - fine of one day’s national minimum wage for every day until such failure subsists.

2.    Non declaration (1st June 2019 and thereafter) - fine of one year’s national minimum wage.
