Third Tripartite Meeting among ACC, RAA, and OAG

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) successfully hosted the third tripartite meeting among the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Royal Audit Authority and the OAG in Panbang, Zhemgang from 06 to 08 March 2025. The meeting was focused on strengthening institutional synergy and enhancing collaboration to reinforce trust and maximize impact.

Key discussions included follow up on the decisions of the previous tripartite meeting, reconciliation of restitution figures, finalization of Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) for Missing of Persons (MoP), proposal on imposition of 24% penalty, determination of turnaround time (TAT) for each agency, and data-sharing platform, among others. 

Following the meeting, on 15 March 2025, the three agencies jointly adopted the SoP for dealing with MoP cases. Additionally, a formal letter to the Ministry of Finance was jointly signed, recommending amendments in the Finance and Accounting Manual related to the 24% penalty.

The meeting underscored the importance of professionalism in resolving differences and reinforcing the commitment to a shared mission, showcasing the agenciesโ€™ strengthened partnership in fostering greater trust and understanding.
