ACC conducts second round of training on Corruption Risk Management (CRM)

In continuation to the capacity building on Corruption Risk Management (CRM) initiated, the ACC conducted a second round of Training of Trainers’ workshop on CRM for the internal auditors on 8th November 2012. This initiative was a follow up of the decision made in the 11th Tripartite meeting of the RAA, IAUs and the ACC on 8th September 2011.

Conduct of Corruption Risk Management in Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPCL)

Upon request of the Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPCL), a team of Anti-Corruption Officers led by Director conducted Corruption Risk Management (CRM) on 5th November 2012. Altogether 32 participants led by Hon’ble CEO of BPCL attended the workshop.

The CEO highlighted the importance of inculcating and promoting a culture of integrity in the organization. He also stated that the conduct of CRM in HR services was very timely which will be a value addition to their draft HR Master Plan.

Research on ‘Integrity and Value Education in schools of Bhutan”

A half day program was convened with the Ministry of Education on 2nd October 2012 to present the findings of the Research conducted by the Anti-Corruption Commission on ‘Integrity and Value Education in Schools’. The meeting was attended by Hon’ble Secretary, Director General, and 24 other senior officials including Chiefs of the Divisions in the Ministry Of Education.

Lessons through Subject Integration and Project Based Learning

Two officers from the ACC attended the last day of the workshop on ‘Integrated Project Based Curriculum Development’ on 12th July, 2012 in Paro. It was conducted by 4 resource persons from India, America and Canada, under the initiative of Lhomon Society, a civil society organization. Vice Chancellor of the Royal University of Bhutan graced the session.
